Christmas Deliveries

The weather is so mild it’s hard to think that Christmas and possibly snow are just around the corner!Last winter deliveries to our customers were suspended for two weeks due to the snow so it’s worth thinking about ordering your carpets and flooring in plenty of time to avoid last minute disappointments,the last thing we want is for any of our customers to be without carpet for Christmas!

Cormar and Axminster are having yet another price increase.

The last date for ordering at the current price is 28th October for both Axminster and Cormar carpets.This is due to the continuing increase in the price of wool and may mean other carpet manufacturers will follow suit so it’s best to order asap to avoid a price increase,we can store carpets for 3 months if you want to order to beat any price increase but are not yet ready to take delivery of them.

At last we are now through all the manufacturer price increases and do not expect further rises until next year so you can rest assured all our on line prices are up to date.The only exception to this is BRINTONS which will be increasing on Monday 19th September-last day for ordering at the current prices will be Friday 16th September-BELL TWIST however will not be going up and we are currently the cheapest on line for Bell Twist.At Brintons carpets it’s very much business as usual contrary to what some reports may say and we receive our Brintons delivery every Tuesday as we have done so for many years.

MORE CARPET MANUFACTURER PRICE INCREASES ON THEIR WAY

The carpet industry is seeing an unprecedented price increase in wool and it continues to rise on an almost daily basis.As a result we are seeing price increases from all major manufacturers several times a year instead of the usual once,order sooner rather than later to try and beat this continuing increase.If you have seen a product advertised for less on another website,please check with us to see if we can match or better it as we never like to lose an order!Some websites are not showing up to date prices which take in to account manufacturer price increases so it’s always best to check your prices.
