Delivery Terms

Fab Flooring offers a standard delivery service where most goods are delivered within 5-7 working days. For timed/Saturday delivery requests customers must contact us for information and costs.

Orders incur a subsidised delivery charge of £30.00 + Vat. Our standard delivery covers Mainland UK, however  there is a surcharge for deliveries to Scotland.We will deliver to non mainland UK destinations (please call us for surcharge prices)

We also offer a timed delivery service on your arranged delivery day. This service carries an additional charge, for any additional services above, orders need to be arranged with a member of staff. (See Delivery charges)

Deliveries are made on your requested day from approximately 8.00 am to around 6.00 pm. Unfortunately requests for an E.T.A. (Estimated time of arrival) are at the couriers discretion. If your order arrives as arranged but we are unable to deliver because you are not home, or there is inadequate help available you will be liable for any additional costs incurred for redelivery.

Our standard delivery service is made to ‘Kerb side’ due to insurance guidelines so please arrange for adequate help to off load your goods. Your delivery could be made on a lorry or van so it is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. If there is a likely problem, e.g. the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width restriction or parking, it is within a time zone restriction; please inform us at the time of order so we can discuss alternative delivery options.

Fab Flooring has teamed up with reliable delivery partners to ensure delivery service levels are maintained. However, very occasionally damage may occur during the transportation of goods which we apologise for in advance. Therefore it is important to check and sign for your order on arrival. If you are unfortunate to receive damaged or missing items please make sure it is noted on the couriers paperwork. We also strongly suggest that you contact us direct as soon as possible to make sure we aware of the problem. We cannot be responsible for any consequential losses after delivery has been signed for. Therefore we advise against booking installers until goods have arrived and been checked.If you have ordered carpets please note that as soon as the fitter cuts in to the carpet any fault subsequently found will be at the fitters liability so please ensure all carpets are checked prior to cutting. Where goods are refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return we reserve the right to pass on any carriage charges that we incur in returning the goods to us.

Whilst delivery dates are given in good faith they are not guaranteed and Fab Flooring hereby excludes liability for any loss or damage caused by any delay in completing the contract and the customer shall not be entitled to treat the contract as repudiated or deduct monies.

Refunds & Returns

You have the right to cancel and return your order,if unopened and in original packaging up to 7 working days after receiving your order (known as 7 day cooling off period).All monies including any delivery cost charged will be refunded if cancelled within the 7 day cooling off period. You are however responsible for all costs incurred for returns by your chosen carrier if you have cancelled an order.

You must contact us in writing prior to returning your order and obtain a return/cancellation reference number, you can do this by e-mail or by writing to Customer Services at unit 9c Old Bridge Way, Shefford Industrial Park, Shefford, Beds, SG17 5HQ.

Certain items are excluded from our returns policy,these items include flooring that has been specifically cut to size or custom made. If you are unsure of wether the items you are intending to purchase are included in our 7 day return policy please contact us before ordering. We do not accept the return of part orders.

Refunds will be made to the payment card that was initially used to make the purchase and will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Please review your order form to confirm you have ordered the correct goods to avoid any misunderstanding. Paid orders that are cancelled less than 24 hours before delivery will incur a 5% administration charge and possibly a delivery charge if the goods have already been dispatched. Delivery costs can only be refunded if the return is due to an error on our part.
